A 45 year old female patient was referred for a Nuclear Medicine Scan of the Lungs.
The Lung Perfusion Scan showed a decrease in perfusion in the left lung superiorly and antero-inferiorly.
An enlarged heart shadow (seen on the patient's Chest Radiograph), may be the cause for the decrease in perfusion in the antero-inferior aspect.
