Fifty year old male experienced abdominal pain and fainting spells. X-ray and Ultrasound examinations were requested with a clinical opinion of acute pancreatitis.
Ultrasound of the abdomen proved to be normal. X-ray of the Chest and Erect Abdomen revealed free air under the right hemidiaphragm.
Surgery confirmed visceral perforation (ulcerated stomach).
