50 year old male with injury to left shoulder.
MRI of the shoulder was requested to rule out rotator cuff tear.
Images revealed a superior antero-posterior Labral tear with displacement of the long head of the biceps tendon out of the bicepital groove, lying adjacent to the anterior glenoid process.
There was mild separation of the anterior superior Labrum from the bony glenoid rim (superior to inferior) consistent with a partial tear. Possible tendinopathy of the distal supraspinatus tendon was noted. There was also a small gleno-humeral joint effusion
