Middle age female patient with a history of lower back pain.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) was requested of the lumbo-sacral spine to identify a possible "slipped disc".
Sagittal views done in T1 and T2 weighted sequences pinpoints the "slipped discs" or disc herniations at the L3-L4 and L4-L5 lumbar intervertebral discs. (see red arrows on T2 image)
